WE ARE FAMILY is a perfect family film with a good mix of emotions and humour. Plus, a brilliant climax, which will ensure that the film grows with a strong word of mouth. The last film which came close to being a family outing was PAA. Before that, the only quintessential family film was BAGHBAN. WE ARE FAMILY is the kind of film that should work instantly with ladies and when ladies watch such films, they bring their spouses and children along. Recommended! (more…)

Music Maestro AR Rahman, who had won two Oscar awards for his song ‘Jai Ho’ in “Slumdog Millionaire has drawn severe criticism over the CWG theme song, “Oh Yaaro, Yeh India Bula Liya”. The song failed to impress the fans, politicians, singers and musicians.
Ironically, AR Rahman took six months to compose the song and he charges Rs 5 crore for that! The CWG OC members are not convinced about quality of the song. Some of them want the song to recomposed. (more…)

Sonkashi Sinha, the latest entrant in Bollywood, pretty much appears familiar with the rules of the game. The grooming that she has received from her parents – Poonam and Shatrughan Sinha – is very much on display in the way she handles a barrage of questions coming her way.
No raw edges, no slip of tongue, no nervous moments – just a confident conversation which is not business like but doesn’t come anywhere close to being frivolous.

A 22-year-old Mexico woman won the Miss Universe pageant Monday night after donning a flowing red gown and telling an audience it’s important to teach kids family values.
Jimena Navarrete of Guadalajara was first to answer an interview question Monday night and the last of 83 contestants standing in the headline-grabbing pageant on the Las Vegas Strip.
Her one-strap gown flowed behind her like a sheet as she walked. Earlier, she smiled in a violet bikini as she confidently strutted across the stage.

The folks behind the sure-to-be-a-hit Halo: Reach have a new viral-marketing tool: a giant robotic arm that users can control remotely to create an online monument to a squad of fallen soldiers featured in the upcoming game.
The arm, a Kuka KR 140, is purportedly stashed in some secret warehouse in San Francisco with an LED light on the end of its articulated joints (for all we can tell, it could be a virtual construct, though even that’s still a cool idea).
