Sonkashi Sinha, the latest entrant in Bollywood, pretty much appears familiar with the rules of the game. The grooming that she has received from her parents – Poonam and Shatrughan Sinha – is very much on display in the way she handles a barrage of questions coming her way.
No raw edges, no slip of tongue, no nervous moments – just a confident conversation which is not business like but doesn’t come anywhere close to being frivolous.

Yash Raj Films’ Lafangey Parindey is the story of One Shot Nandu (Neil) and Pinky Palkar (Padukone). They live in the backstreets of Mumbai and are friends.
While Pinky dreams of winning a reality dance show on television some day, Nandu whiles away his time with friends Chaddi, Diesel and Gulkand. When he is not playing carrom with his friends, he is in the boxing ring. His mentor is Usmanbhai (Piyush Mishra), a common criminal.

No Comments » August 14th, 2010 nrmodh Aamir Khan’s Midas touch continues with his production venture ‘Peepli Live’, a non commercial film about farmer suicides, doing well on its opening day, taking the actor pleasantly by surprise, and raking up about Rs.70 million and still counting.
‘Initially, we had planned to open with 200 screens. But the reaction to the promos and trailers has been most encouraging. We are trying to react to the perceived demand to the film,’ said Aamir in a statement.
Journalist-turned-director Anusha Rizvi’s direcotrial debut, ‘Peepli Live’ was made on a budget of approximately Rs.100 million (including marketing costs) and recovered its investment even before its release by selling its satellite rights for Rs.100 million and music rights for Rs.40 million.

An all-new teaser from Mani Ratnam’s highly anticipated ‘Raavan’ has just arrived online. The promo features the song ‘Ranja Ranjha’, however the footage contains a montage of scenes from the film, not the actual video itself.
The Hindi version ‘Raavan’ stars Vikram, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Govinda and Priyamani. ‘Ravana’ stars Vikram, Prithviraj, Karthik, Prabhu Ganesan and Aishwarya Rai. Vikram who plays the protagonist in ‘Raavan’ plays the antagonist in ‘Ravana’. (more…)
